Our Backstory
You are likely familiar with the parable of “The Starfish Thrower” (CLICK HERE TO READ) that tells the story of the young boy standing on a beach surrounded by a countless number of starfish that were stranded on the water’s edge during low tide.
An old man watched with both amusement and cynicism as the lad quietly repeated the rhythmic process of picking up and tossing a selected starfish back into the ocean.
Upon reaching the boy, the old man pointed out the futility of the boy’s effort in being able to make a difference in saving all of the starfish from baking in the sun before the tide return.
The boy was undaunted by the old man’s grim assessment and picked up another starfish and threw it as far as he could into the ocean.
With a contented smile, the boy turned to the old man and said, “I made a difference to that one!”

We have assessed and adapted to the current shelter-in-place guidelines and have created a powerful online program if you choose to use this altered time to prepare for a revamped fresh start when our country reopens. We are optimistic that the day when we can gather together in a ‘new normal’ setting will soon be upon us and we can enjoy the gift of each other’s company.
